Bukowski Bears no longer have an agent in the UK.

Shame about this as it will make sourcing new products more difficult. Ordering directly from Sweden means ordering in larger quantities which means holding greater amounts of stock and fewer orders per year. Knut the Polar Bear Dies at Age 4

Knut, Berlin’s beloved polar bear, who rose to international fame as a cuddly cub hand-raised by zookeepers has died aged 4.

Bear keeper Heiner Kloes said, “It was a completely normal day. He was with the female bears before, who had just been shut away. Then, Knut strolled around the enclosure, went into the water, had a short spasm and died.”

After being rejected by his mother at birth in December 2006, Knut was raised by a Berlin zookeeper and only recently celebrated his 4th birthday at the zoo.

Feted by a host of celebrities and appearing on a 2007 Vanity Fair cover with Leonardo DiCaprio, Knutmania also spawned a film and plush polar bear toys that became a massive hit with the public.

Knut will be remembered fondly by all his fans.
